Borussia Mönchengladbach Sign Tim Kleindienst from Heidenheim
Veteran Striker Joins Foals

Borussia Mönchengladbach have made their first signing of the summer transfer window, bringing in forward Tim Kleindienst from 1. FC Heidenheim. The 28-year-old joins the Foals on a free transfer after his contract with Heidenheim expired. He has signed a contract with Borussia until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Kleindienst, who spent the last two seasons with Heidenheim, brings a wealth of experience to Gladbach. He has scored 66 goals in 207 appearances in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2. He has also represented Germany at youth level and was part of the squad that won the 2016 European Under-21 Championship.
Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus said: "Tim Kleindienst is a striker with a proven track record in the Bundesliga who will bring goals and experience to our team. He is a good fit for our style of play and we are confident he can help us achieve our goals next season."
Kleindienst said: "I am very happy to be joining Borussia Mönchengladbach. This is a great club with a lot of tradition and ambition. I am looking forward to working with the coach and the team and helping the club achieve success."
Kleindienst will join up with his new teammates for pre-season training on July 1st.
